The Lungitude Foundation is particularly important to Wendy who had a double lung transplant in 2006 as a result of Primary Pulmonary Hypertension. As a co-founder of the Lungitude Foundation, Board Secretary and Fundraising Committee Chair, Wendy is passionate about how Lungitude can make a difference.
Wendy is an experienced Industry Steering Committee Member and Not-For-Profit Fundraising Co-Chair and Committee Member with over 14 years of philanthropic work in the area of lung transplantation.
In 2022, Wendy was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) ‘for service to community health, particularly lung transplant research’. You can view press release here.
Wendy is also a professional Human Resources specialist with over 20 years of multinational organisational experience including working for Shell Australia and as a founding steering committee member of The Employee Mobility Institute. She is the former owner and founder of an online relocation company with extensive experience within the global mobility sector. Wendy is also a Certified Resilience Coach and has a business called Ready Resilience that provides neuroscience-based resilience training and services for individuals and organisations.
